Biography

In early 2002 Iron Tyrant (drums), Sick (bass), Iron Incubus (guitars) and The Bone (vocals) conquered their ugly rehearsal-bunker in order to create their very own hellish brand of ancient Metal. After some months of intense work, The Bone decided that he was not able to fit his lyrics to the vocal lines of the finished tracks, so he left the band in autumn 2002. During the following sessions the horde concentrated only on writing material for their first promo tape...
In February 2003 Traumatic (former Witchburner) joined the clan as new vokiller. But the new-found front man left the legion after a few months to dedicate himself to his main band Witchburner totally.

A new dawn of possession had to come... So Iron Tyrant decided to take over the vocal duties and an old friend of Hellish Crossfire, Evil Possessor, sat down behind the drums...
In winter 2003 this final line-up recorded the infamously raw rehearsal-room-recording "Unholy Tyranny" featuring four fine tunes of utter bestiality. The tape was respected in the world-wide underground despite its poor sound quality and only those few copies floating around: Real maniacs like i.e. Hurricane of "Hellpike", Thomas of "Necromaniac" (7/10 points) and Laci of the Hungarian "Stygian Shadows" zine (9/10 points) praised this small piece of rawness and aggressiveness. Interviews with several zines from all over the world followed....

In January 2005 the hellish horde ultimately thought that the time had come to invade Patrick W. Engels Rape Of Harmonies Studio in order to record the magnificently old-styled Slaves Of The Burning Pentagram which was originally meant to be put out through a fellow maniac's label. About 30 minutes featuring real raw and infernal metal should be enough for a mini-album...
In combination with the support of the awesome Mellhammer and Patrick W. Engel himself adding some small guest-appearances Slaves Of The Burning Pentagram was the ultimate highlight of the bands career so far. But due to bad circumstances its release was delayed over and over again. After about a year of wait Hellish Crossfire got in touch with I Hate Records for the final release. However, it was agreed on recording two further tracks of hellish slaughterization, in order to turn Slaves Of The Burning Pentagram into a full-length debut release. Once the LP version was out it was sold out within just a few months. So Hellish Crossfire had to offer some CDs as well... The response to the record was overwhelming with praising reviews and interviews in numerous fanzines as well as big magazines such as "Terrorizer" (UK), "Close-Up" (soundcheck winners), "Heavy" (Germany), "S.O.D." (USA) or "Legacy" (Germany). In the meantime Chilean Proselytism (that was already responsible for the cassette version of Slaves Of The Burning Pentagram) unleashed a split CD in fine digipack together with Violent Attack from Paraguay as release especially for South American maniacs. You will find the tracks of Hellish Crossfire's first rehearsal tape Unholy Tyranny on this disc, furthermore there is also some never before offically released rehearsal stuff...

In April of 2009 the horde re-entered Rape Of Harmonies Studio to record songs for their second full-length Bloodrust Scythe which got even more extreme, even more fanatic response than the savage debut... Ravishing praise from underground maniacs all around the globe as well as interviews and reviews in bigger mags such as "Terrorizer" (UK), "Rock Hard" (Germany), "Close-Up" (Sweden - once again sound check winners), "Scream" (Norway), "Legacy" (Germany, soundcheck position no. 2) or "Heavy" (Germany) appeared.....
